The system controller manages all system related functions of public address and Voice Alarm system. It routes all audio connections between network-connected audio sources and destinations. It supervises and plays back messages and tones, stored on its flash memory, either scheduled or manually started from a call station or PC. It manages the routing of background music streams, along with business calls and emergency calls, all based on priority level and zone occupancy. It collects all status information of connected system devices, manages the event logs and reports faults. The system controller is network- connected via CAT6 Cable and AC- powered from a power supply. UPS backup power supply recommended. The built- in web server allows for system configuration using a browser.
This power amplifier unit is an 8-channel IP power amplifier. The output power of each amplifier channel is adjusted according to the connected speaker load, limited only by the overall power budget of the whole amplifier. The units are connected to the central exchange unit via Ethernet CAT5 or CAT6 or fiber cable. The amplifier is a Class D power amplifier due to its especially high efficiency, low power consumption and long life.
The end-of-line detector is a device used to monitor the integrity of a loudspeaker circuit. It is attached to the end of the loudspeaker circuit after the last speaker in a series of cascaded connections, can communicate with the drive power amplifier channel to ensure line integrity via an inaudible frequency.
The call station can make group announcements according to the user pre-set zones or multi-zones. It can enable schedule or ad hoc announcements to pre-set zones. For schedule announcement, it can be based on time/date/yearly. For ad hoc announcements, there are push-to-talk button and microphone.
The call station can allow for pre-play of pre-recorded messages before it is announced to the selected zone.
When the call station selects a zone, he/she will have preset time to make announcements otherwise the zone is released for another call station unless the user has a higher user authority. The other call station who wishes to broadcast from the same zone, the call station screen on the zone will indicate “busy”.
If a schedule announcement message is being broadcasted, the user can select to interrupt the broadcast or wait until the announcement message is finished. This will depend on the level of user authority. The User with higher authority can break-in anytime.
The user can also pre-record his/her message, then pre-play and then set schedule announcement.
