Wayang Windu Geothermal Power Plant

Located in the Wayang and Windu Mountains of Indonesia lies the Wayang Windu Power Geothermal Power Plant. Using the proximity to the Earth's volcano-rich "Ring of Fire" to produce energy that emits little to no greenhouse gases, the plant develops geothermal resources to produce up to 400 MW of electricity within a 390,000 sq. ft. contract area—a generating capacity of over 42 years.
